Engineering Faculty – OSTİM Technical University
All students must strictly adhere to the following rules during all exams:
1. A valid student ID card must be presented. Students without a valid student ID card are not allowed to take the exam.
2. Books, lecture notes, and other materials related to the exam topics are not allowed unless explicitly permitted by the instructor.
3. Any pre-prepared papers or documents covering the exam topics are strictly prohibited unless otherwise stated by the instructor.
4. Programmable calculators are not allowed. Depending on the course, the instructor may permit simple calculators with basic trigonometric functions.
5. All mobile phones must be turned off before the exam begins and placed on the front desk. Phones must not be kept in pockets or within reach.
6. Wearing smart watches, necklaces, bracelets, or similar devices with memory or communication capabilities is prohibited. Such devices must be left on the front desk before the exam.
7. Headphones, earbuds, or similar audio devices are not allowed.
8. All backpacks and handbags must be placed on the floor near the front wall of the classroom. Students may also place their phones, headphones, and other smart devices inside their bags at the front wall.
9. Looking at other students’ answer sheets is prohibited.
10. Showing your own answers to others is prohibited.
11. Talking, whispering, looking around, or disturbing other students during the exam is not allowed.
12. Sharing pencils, erasers, calculators, tissues, or any other items during the exam is not permitted.
13. Any behavior that violates these rules will be considered cheating, and disciplinary action will be taken according to university regulations.
14. Any verbal or physical action against exam staff may result in serious penalties.
15. The Faculty encourages all students to avoid any behavior that may put them in a difficult situation.
